The Paws and Claws collection bin at The Club at Town Center is accepting new or gently used pet items to benefit Noah’s Animal House, which opened its Reno shelter in February 2018. But hurry, the drive ends on April 30.

Noah’s Animal House provides emergency shelter for pets belonging to survivors of domestic violence living at the Domestic Violence Resource Center‘s emergency shelter in Reno. Threats against family pets are often part of domestic violence, and many victims will not leave their abuser because they do not want to leave their pet behind. That is where Noah’s Animal House comes in. The shelter takes in all kinds of pets so the animals and their owners have a safe place to stay.

Needed are new or gently used items such as dog and cat beds, blankets, food bowls, grooming supplies, towels and gift cards to places where you get your pet supplies. Here is Noah’s Wish List.

Just drop your items in the collection bin before May 1 and the Wild Whimsical Women will make sure they are delivered to Noah’s Reno location.
