New AGC review fees take effect July 15
If you are planning to make alterations to your landscape or the exterior of your home, the new Aesthetic Guidelines Committee fee structure going into effect on July 15 will be music to your ears – and your checkbook. The Board-approved revisions greatly reduce or eliminate the cost for an AGC review. A deposit is still required, but all or a portion will be refunded after the modification passes an SOA inspection.
Please note that if you are substituting like-for-like, such as replacing a tree or shrub with the same species or repainting your house with the same color, no review is required.
Here is a comparison of the old and new AGC review fees:
Minor tree and shrub species changes, basic design courtyard gates, minor trim color change, hot tub, mow strip, solar and pre-approved storm doors.
