YouthBask1_webThe Club at Town Center’s 2020 Winter Youth Basketball Program aims to help players learn and review basic playing skills, including dribbling, shooting, offense and defense, in a recreational, non-competitive setting. Coaches will focus on teaching fundamental skills, boosting player confidence and practicing good sportsmanship. We are excited to welcome back Draun Manning, a coach from Wooster High School, to lead the program.

The program runs on Wednesdays and Thursdays from Jan. 29 through Feb. 13 (the first three weeks) and Tuesdays and Thursdays from Feb. 18-March 12. Sessions for children ages 5-7 will run from 4:30-5:30 pm and the program for 8-12-year-olds will take place from 5:45-6:45 pm. All practices and games take place in the Sports Court at the Club at Town Center.

Scrimmages: Scrimmage games will be played in the Sports Court on Thursdays. The coach will serve as the referee during the games to work with the players on improving game skills. Volunteer parent coaches will help during the games with subs and keeping members of each team motivated and focused on the sidelines while supporting their teammates.

End of Season Banquet: Thursday, March 12, at 7 pm following the final scrimmages. More information to follow.

Cost: $55 per player.

To register: Stop by the front desk or download this registration form, fill it out and return it to the front desk.
